vinvolved newsletters

We send out regular newsletters to all our current and potential volunteers, and to our friends and partner organisations. We use our newsletter to promote new volunteering opportunities to advertise events or to talk about some of the fantastic volunteers and the organisations they are working with.  It's a brilliant way to keep up to date and get v involved...

In August we proudly became one of the first vinvolved teams in the country to achieve Youth Action Network's Reach status, the national quality framework mark for high standard practice relating to youth-led volunteering.

The assessment framework measured our involvement of young people in leading their volunteering, as well as having the fundamentals in place for working with young volunteers. Specifically, it covered areas such as

• openness & accessibility
• safety
• diversity
• support
• participation
• reflection & learning
• recognition
• community benefit
• partnership

- all of which we passed with flying colours...
